Abutments are 1.8m high (to the underside of the deck) with a 700mm stepped backwall that has an open front face for integration with the deck panels. Each abutment is connected to 2 x Magnelis-clad wing walls that are 2.5m high (to the top of the deck) and 2.7m-long, angled at 45 degrees to the abutments.
The bridge is a double-lane bridge with a pedestrian crossing.
Project Description: P5 car park extension
The University released a tender for the construction of a bridge to improve access to a new car park within the technology campus. The InQuik product was chosen by JBG as it would enable them to meet the timeframe to delivery on the broader project as the bridge was a small but crucial part of the upgraded parking.
